Chennai Super Kings chose to bat v Kolkata Knight Riders

MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to bat against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens. His opposite number Sourav Ganguly was happy with bowling first and said that he would have done so had he won the toss.
Both teams have made some changes. Kolkata have brought in Shane Bond straightway in place of Charl Langeveldt, while Laxmi Ratan Shukla, who missed the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, replaced Cheteshwar Pujara.
For their part, Chennai have made one change: Manpreet Gony comes in for Sudeep Tyagi. Kolkata have won both their games so far while Chennai are yet to register their first win.
